Appointment type

Akuttermin
For sudden symptoms that require treatment within a short period of time.
General Examination
Comprehensive clinical examination of your pet with individual consultation. During the appointment we assess your pet’s general health status and discuss any abnormalities or questions you may have. If necessary, additional diagnostic or therapeutic measures may be performed, or a follow-up appointment may be scheduled.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a painless and radiation-free procedure that allows us to take a detailed look inside your pet. This enables us to precisely assess organ structures (such as the liver, kidneys, spleen, and bladder), heart function, and pregnancy status without stressing the animal. You are welcome to be present during the examination to help calm your pet.
Follow-up/Check-up
Follow-up appointment after a previous treatment, therapy, surgery, or diagnostic procedure at our practice. We assess the healing progress, evaluate your pet’s current health status, and adjust the treatment plan if necessary.
Vaccination (including General Examination)
Vaccination appointment with prior general examination.
Vaccinations are administered according to current recommendations; information can be found on our website. For animal species other than dogs, cats, and rabbits, as well as for vaccinations not routinely recommended (e.g., leishmaniasis, FIV/FeLV), please inquire in advance so we can check the availability of the appropriate vaccine.
Long-term-medication (monthly injection)
Long-term medication for chronic, pre-diagnosed musculoskeletal disorders requiring regular treatment (e.g., 'Librela'), dermatological conditions/pruritus (e.g., 'Cytopoint'/long-term corticosteroids), and other chronic conditions.
Ear Examination / Treatment
Examination of your pet’s ears in cases of itching, head shaking, unpleasant odor, or discharge. If necessary, the ears are cleaned and further diagnostic tests or treatments are performed, such as swabs, microscopic examination, or medication therapy.
Blood Sampling
Collection of a blood sample for further diagnostics at internal- or external laboratory. Depending on the purpose, various blood parameters may be analyzed. If your pet requires calming medication prior to the blood draw, please contact us in advance.
Fur Care: Clipping / Dematting
Medically necessary grooming (or therapeutic grooming) serves to maintain the health and well-being of your pet. It becomes necessary when issues like severe matting, parasites, skin conditions, or contamination in the anal or genital area strain the animal and can no longer be resolved through normal grooming.
Nail Trimming
Professional trimming of your pet’s nails. If needed, we also examine the paws and pads. Should further examination be advisable (e.g., due to inflammation or nail deformities), we will discuss the next steps with you and arrange a follow-up appointment.
Anal Gland Expression
Gentle manual expression of the anal glands when indicated. If necessary, we will also assess the condition of the anal area and inform you about possible inflammation or the need for further treatment. Should additional examination or therapy be required, we will discuss the next steps with you and arrange a follow-up appointment.
Short Consultation (without examination)
consultation with a veterinarian without a physical examination of your pet. Suitable for questions or administrative matters and professional assessments.
Neutering/Spaying Consultation
Individual consultation regarding the neutering/spaying of your pet. We provide detailed information on the medical requirements, the procedure, potential risks, and the pros and cons in terms of health and behavior. Together, we discuss whether and when neutering or spaying is appropriate and address all your questions so that you can make an informed decision.
Video-Call
"If you require a professional veterinary assessment regarding various questions about your pet's health, but are unable to visit the clinic for various reasons, we offer in-depth consultations here that can be conducted without a clinical examination. In certain cases, however, this consultation is not a substitute for a visit to a veterinary practice
Training Session (Short)
Appointment for training or practice purposes, e.g., to help your pet become accustomed to clinic routines, handling, or brief procedures. This session is intended for low-stress training and does not replace a veterinary examination.
Surgery (Pre-Examination / Consultation)
A preoperative examination of your pet is required before any surgical procedure. During the consultation, we also clarify the medical indication, explain the procedure, discuss potential risks, and go over pre- and post-operative care.
Following this, we will jointly plan a suitable date for the surgery.
House Visit (Request Only)
Home visits are available by prior arrangement only and only in exceptional circumstances. Depending on availability, visits will be scheduled outside of our regular office hours. After receiving your request, we will contact you personally to arrange a suitable appointment.
A home visit fee and travel expenses will be charged according to the German Veterinary Fee Schedule (GOT).
Euthanasia (Request / Consultation)
Please note that direct online booking is not possible for this type of appointment; only a preliminary consultation is available. If you are considering euthanasia for your pet, please be aware that an initial consultation will take place to discuss the situation and calmly agree on the next steps. Afterwards, appointments can be arranged at very short notice.
